About Us
Africa Hoofprint Foundation NPC is a South African non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering at-risk youth through equestrian education, sport, and holistic development. Founded in response to the Garden Route Fire Crisis in 2017, the organisation provides inclusive access to equine training, life skills, and career pathways within the equestrian industry. By combining youth development with the rescue, rehabilitation, and preservation of the Griqua Heritage Horse, the Foundation fosters resilience, responsibility, and leadership through meaningful connection with horses and nature. Its work is rooted in compassion, heritage preservation, and the belief that positive change begins with education, care, and opportunity.

We believe in the inherent resilience of horses and their ability to transform the lives of individuals. By nurturing these magnificent creatures, we empower communities and foster positive change.
Our Mission
Our core mission is to empower at-risk youth through the transformative power of horses. Horses not only help young people overcome life’s challenges, but they also build resilience, confidence, and emotional intelligence—qualities essential for thriving in today's world.
Through advocacy, outreach, and hands-on work, Africa Hoofprint Foundation spreads a message of hope and compassion. We believe that one action can spark change in a community, and that collective action can move the world forward.
